My name is Ashley. I'm a Junior in college studying visual arts and photography. I am quick-witted, euphoric, creative, sarcastic, a dreamer, a thinker, an animal lover, and an insomniac. I've been through a lot in my life but I am still standing, still living. My smile is not an accessory, it's the real deal. My favorite band is Incubus, favorite books are The Last Lecture and Tuesdays with Morrie, favorite season is Autumn, and favorite t.v. shows are The Office and That 70's Show. My dream job is to work for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. One day I wish to settle down and raise a family in the West among a gorgeous mountain view.
I find beauty within the simplest things. I play guitar and love to sing. As Brandon Boyd stated, "Music has always been my back door to life."
I do not know what the future holds for me but therefore who does? This is why I take life one day at a time and try my hardest to only focus on the present and allow the pieces to fall where they may.
The greatest places that I've been to so far are Colorado and New Mexico. I want to travel to places I never knew existed. I like being completely out of my element and learning new things. I'm all for an adventure, I would love to sky dive one day. I'm not very good at writing about myself. I always just type the words that my fingers want me to.
I'm one to put other's needs before my own. I would walk to the ends of the Earth just to make someone happy. If I accomplish making you laugh then congratulations, you just made my day.
A meaningful existence is what I strive for. I don't care if I'm ever well known even though it would be pretty cool. As long as I know I've made a difference in someone's life, to me that feels like making a difference in the world.
It makes me happy to know that none of us get a how-to guide. We're all just kind of winging it..
